How tracking works
Following an extraordinary flight.
On Christmas Eve, the archive combines witness reports, weather observations, bell detections and changes in aurora activity to estimate the sleigh’s progress. The route is shown only after Santa has safely left an area.
Exact rooftop locations are never published. This protects households, preserves Santa’s working space and prevents curious observers from interfering with deliveries.
